We were originally thinking of doing a taupe and chocolate brown color scheme in the living room. The light from the window falls tenderly over the space, as if it adores everything in it as much as I do. Paired with light gray walls, the dark ceiling in this space from Gravity Home comes off moody and not gloomy.

I dont like traditional styles, nothing I have a sofa and loveseat set in a dark brown color. Light walls vs dark walls with dark floors. It might strike some as counter to any good decorative advice—wouldn't dark.
